Well we got off the tee blocks with a bang in 2019…
Our owners, Rick Letts and Les McTavish approved a major kitchen renovation that saw our restaurant closed for January to early April. To say that the kitchen needed a face-lift, may have been an understatement. We added some square feet and freshened the look with almost new everything. Plus we got some new equipment. The goal for the renovation was to improve the space so we can handle not only the restaurant but our tournament/catering events as well. Future plans are also to look at potentially expanding the restaurant area so now the kitchen can handle this potential additional load as well.
Over the off-season we have also been working with Yastech Golf on this New Website! Still some work to do to make it perfect, but we are pleased that we have a new platform to share news, information, deals and everything ‘Harbor Golf’ with you.
COURSE OPENED EARLY:
Mother nature cooperated this year with some warm weather in April so we opened the course on April 18th. Which is a Thursday… which is Men’s night… and our course superintendent (Ricky) loves his Men’s night golf… coincidence that was the Opening Day… we think not! The crew is now working to get water to the course, re-logoing and renumbering the golf carts and everything it takes to make the course beautiful.
