4th Annual Harbor JR Championship – Information Sheet
REGISTRATION
All players / parents may register online from Harbor Golf Club. All registrants will receive a first tee gift ($25 minimum value). Additional prizes will be awarded based on individual results. Appropriate golf attire must be worn.
SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
- Monday, July 13, 2026 4 PM – 6 PM Official Practice Round (tee times off Hole 1)
- Tuesday, July 14, 2026 12:00 pm – 12:30 pm REGISTRATION at the Tournament Building
- 12:30 pm – 1:15 pm PUTT OFF Contest
- 1:30 pm Shotgun Start 6:00 pm (time approximate) Awards Ceremony and Taco Buffet
OFFICIAL PRACTICE ROUND
All players are entitled to a complimentary practice round at Harbor Golf Club, Monday, July 13, with tee times after 5 PM. Call the ProShop to book. (306) 854-2300
TOURNAMENT RULES & GUIDELINES
In addition to Golf Canada rules and guidelines:
- Once a player matches double par, they will pick up and go to the next hole. (e.g. max 8 strokes on par 4)
- All golfers must walk 18 holes.
- Parents are encouraged to rent a cart and support the athletes, staying a minimum of 30 yards away and no verbal or gestured communications. After a great shot or effort, applause and positive shout outs encouraged.
SHOTGUN – STARTING HOLES
Starting holes will be determined by registrations within each category.
CATEGORIES – Youth / JR Tournament (18 years and younger) It is recommended a minimum of one year experience. Categories may be combined or created based on entrants.
- 2008 – 2010 Boys – White Tees
- 2011 – 2012 Boys – White Tees
- 2013 & younger Boys – Yellow Tees
- 2008 – 2010 Girls – White Tees
- 2011 & younger Girls – Yellow Tees
COURSE DETAILS
Below is a general idea of the yardage that players can expect for the championship at Harbor Golf Club, which is subject to change. Course Flyover. Harbor Golf will determine the final yardage for the championship approximately 2-3 days before the Official Practice Round. We reserve the right to change the tees and yardages based on course and weather conditions.
POWER CARTS
Power carts are PROHIBITED for players. Coaches, parents and spectators may rent a cart during the Official Practice Round or Championship play but must follow the Parent & Spectator Code of Conduct – Golf Canada.
PRO SHOP DISCOUNTS
All players will receive a 15% discount (exception balls and gloves).
CADDIES, COACHES, & SPECTATORS
- Caddies: Are NOT allowed for this tournament
- Spectators / Coaches: Are permitted but must abide by the Parent & Spectator Code of Conduct – Golf Canada, e.g.) you must be 45 feet away from the players
ACCOMMODATIONS
The following properties are options for accommodations availability:
TRANSPORTATION
Players are responsible for arranging their own transportation during the Championship.
CLUBHOUSE
The concession, outside of the ProShop, will be open at 9 AM for coffee and breakfast sandwiches with the restaurant open from 11 AM to 8 PM for spectators. Please do not use the restaurant as a break area, the Tournament building will be open for event participants and family.
PRACTICE FACILITIES
The practice facilities are open at 6:00 am. Bring your own balls for putting, chipping and driving nets.
PUSH / PULL CART AVAILABILITY
12 carts are available to borrow, courtesy of the host club, and will be provided on a first reserve, first serve basis. Please call the Pro Shop to reserve a cart.
